Oh sweet sunshine, and warm Colorado air, how I love thee! I ran in the middle of my work day today around the Aurora/Stapleton area. With another long day on the docket I took advantage of a free hour at noon to enjoy this beautiful spring-like day. The weather was perfect for running however the trails were another story.
Still we have lingering snow and ice and now, as an added pleasure, there's melting muddy, sticky icky trails lying beneath.
My run lasted just over 50 minutes and my pace ranged from easy to moderate, depending on the footing. Again, I'll map it when I find the time. I felt OK during this run - though my left knee (dead center) acted up a bit - nothing serious to report.
